It cuts across faiths, religious denominations and political systems and affects both young and old, man and woman alike. Corruption is found in democratic and dictatorial politics; feudal, capitalist and socialist economies. (African economic analysis). Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist cultures are equally bedeviled by corruption. And corrupt practices did not begin today; the history is as old as the world. Ancient civilizations have traces of widespread illegality and corruption. Thus, corruption has been ubiquitous in complex societies from ancient Egypt, Israel, Rome, and Greece down to the present (African economic analysis), but why choose corruption, something so diminishing to the nations economy, tarnishing to the nations name. People rise up today and say that there is a reason for corruption. They believe it is the condition of a per son that makes the person act the way they do. It may be a matter of condition but a person should remain faithful to their belief even though he or she has been put in a tight spot. I strongly believe that there should be no condition where a person will choose to destroy the image of his or her nation with corruption.
